The New Face of Leadership features the best articles from executive coaches and leaders like you! Our opinion page, "Your Gen or Mine...Bridging the Gap" represents the thoughts from multiple generations. We are looking for people from the various generations who are willing to submit a 150 - 200 word response to a specific question or issue. We are using the following guidelines to define the various generations:

1922 - 1945: Traditional / Veteran
1946 - 1964: Baby Boomer
1965 - 1980: Generation X
1981 - 2000: Generation Y / Millennial

Knowledge has to be improved, challenged, and increased constantly, or it vanishes.~Peter Drucker~

Peter Drucker identified four main vehicles for self-development -- reading, writing, listening and teaching. In fact, he identified his "extensive reading as his source of his wide-ranging knowledge". Drucker did not stop there; he went on to stress the importance of being prepared, maintaining your core values, being flexible enough to adapt to change, being able to set goals and being bold enough to take risks. Which principles do you consider most important and why? Would you add anything else?
